I remember one time, we three younger girls decided to head up to the Village, help people carry home their groceries, and earn enough money to buy Mom a pretty set of embroidered hankies for Mother's Day.
We spotted an elderly gentleman, struggling with several bags of groceries, limping along 111th St, and asked of we could help him.
Each of us took one of his bags of groceries, and helped. Unfortunately, we realized the limp was not from his struggle with so many bags, he was handicapped.
His home was right next to St Christina's parking lot, and as we arrived, he called his wife to the door to tell her what we were doing. When she heard our story, she insisted we take all the money the hankies would cost, but we tried to decline, believing it would be better to find someone else to help. In the end, the wonderful, grateful elderly couple prevailed, and we had the money to buy our Darlin' Mumzie the beautiful embroidered hankies we wanted for her.
It still warms my heart that the sweet couple were so impressed we wanted to 'earn' the money for our planned purchase, they gave us all we needed.
What gentle times those were.....(sigh)....miss those happy days of childhood!

Just read your article and you sound worse than MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC combined, lighten up, all of his plans and "illusions" are something that will be tweaked over time. I don't know about you, but I have NEVER seen a single president keep their promises and want to drain the swamp of worthless Senate and House bureaucrats that have stiffed us far too long. Trump is a Godsend compared to Obama.
