Ed - really enjoy your articles and agree with everything you say. Just one issue with this particular article - the use of Gulf of America several times. Yes you also included in parentheses Gulf of Mexico but IMHO you are giving credence to Don the Con ludicrous attempt to change the name.

Medical records are not worth anything, regardless of Laws Regulations Policies that are binding and meant to be followed. It is an assumption that notes will be accurate and complete and thorough. Testimony will follow the notes. Too easy. As long as there has been no straying from colleagues and peer review and accepted practices the power imbalances will remain intact. Providers, hospital, research, stakeholders, lawyers, advisors, economists, et al., thrive on words, language, speech. If there is money to be made, to be had, then the costs to "others" is irrelevant, even when that other is high profile and well liked. The inbuilt automatic protections in place for providers, prescribers and "treaters" are always favoured. When things make their way to courts it is because there is a chance of proving a valid temporal cause. Take the pill and death occurs. But when someone already has a history of illness/es the convoluted pathway to proof is almost impossible to evidence.
Notice how when a court case is won the laws will be changed so that future wins will be minimised or favour providers. Sadly, those in positions who could, who used to fight are now aging, aged and no longer do battle. There might be some younger legal services who might address negligence, but they all want to win dollars. Class actions are also an option, but the paltry fines for wrong-doers are not deterrents, merely an optical cover to be seen to be doing something!

Thanks for taking us where we don't want to go, but where we need to go. Start now to win the mid-term elections and take our country back. Call them what they are, remind us of history, warn us of the danger we are in. God is with us.

I want to sincerely thank and commend Mr. Anderson for this column, those Death Machines that scream across the sky at "patriotic" displays are sickening, I know those those are used to exterminate innocent men, women and children around the world (likely right this minute in Gaza, e.g.) it is sick to be excited by Thanatos, puts one in the category of Serial Killer fans. I have called out Mr. Anderson back when he was still a Genocide denier (for 14 months) and writing sickening encomiums to the "decency" of Segregationist-Genocide Joe and Kop Kamala, imagining that the DemoCrap Lesser Evil party would do anything different than the RapePublicans, when they both have the same donors. Glad that Phil has regained some integrity and "decency" himself with the Demo handover of power to the lunatic Trump, thank you, I actually look forward to reading your work now.

There is a lot Jesus said and did that we don’t know about, so don’t assume he did not address homosexuality in his ministry. All we know is what the gosples recorded. Jesus talked about marriage, adultery, and also eunuchs. Mary Magdalene was never identified as a prostitute, only that Jesus cast devils out of her. People assume it was sexual because she was a woman. He cast devils out of men, and it was not assumed the devils were sexual. The main point of the gospels is that they are a New Testament of the Holy Spirit as our guide replacing the Old Testament of the law. Heterosexual people sin through sex, and homosexual people do too. We all need to try to be honest and true in our sexual relations, that is the main thing, to avoid hurting other people.

I just lost in 2025 to Loren Martell. I have read some of his articles where he picked on school board members, but I've also read articles where he was right on point about the fiscal budget. I'm disappointed the same people keep running and it doesn't give room for other newcomers. I only lost by 57 votes in the primary and I'm depressed about it.

Sock it to them! Great job! But I think you are wrong to criticize any member of the military because of their assignment. They are part of a team and all are dependent on each other. My father was in the infantry, he was killed in action at Normandy in WW II. My stepfather, also a career officer, was an Army information officer during the Viet Nam War. He died from heart disease. I always thought of him as a casualty of that war. They are both heroes to me. They gave up a lot to serve in the military.

P.S. I had two other relatives who served during Viet Nam. One of them had to go and visit families of the fallen, and he ended up having ptsd.
