I am a very liberal Democrat, and I want us to win the midterms. I think it is absurd for trans people to play sports in the gender of their choice. A lot of people just don’t see it the way you do, and they vote. I don’t think this is a hill Democrats should die on, too much is at stake.

I may be wrong about that, and not reached the understanding you have, but this upcoming election is about survival of our democracy, and so we need to not alienate voters who might switch from Trump. The gender issue needs to wait.

Women have to learn a lot of self discipline in order to deal with these hormonal fluctuations. They must also learn sexual morality to protect themselves from pregnancy. So maybe that is why women need to be more self-regulating and tend to be more civilized.
