I'm curious if our Native community was consulted on this plan? Much of the St. Louis river corridors have historical significance to Anishinaabeg folks. Was that voice a part of this process?

Thanks, Wendy. The Native community, like most of the rest of the community, hasn't had a lot of input into this plan. There was an archeological survey scheduled for this summer for the site to determine features of historical and cultural value, including Native American features. I'm not sure if that report has been released yet; at least I haven't seen it.

While I harbor no visions of grandeur for this club, there is still enough there to be a hundred point club. They were last year in a season filled with physical setbacks for several players. What they don't have is enough juice to do anything with a playoff spot once they get it. No McDavids, Matthews types anywhere upon the roster, the result of years of not being good enough to be a force in the playoffs and not being bad enough to get themselves a high, franchise changing player in the entry draft. No Top six? Jason Zucker isn't a top six? Granny? Staal? We will have to agree to disagree. I don't think it absurd for this club to hit another 100 points for the year, at the same time, if they don't, thats no surprise either...
