I want to raise some safety concerns with this recipe. Concerns include:

Unknown acid content to insure safety.

Using a food processor which will add excess air into the mixture which will not be sufficiently removed for safety.

No heat processing of the jars after filling. This is critical for safety. And you cannot just assume how much time is needed for this recipe.

The recipe does not specify the size of jars. The picture looks like a quart. There are no safe recipes for salsa to be canned in quart jars.

Just because the lid seals on the jar, doesn't mean it is safe if the recipe is not safe for canning and if safe canning procedures are not used.

The reason we need a lot more technology money is because it hasn't been funded on a regular basis since the "red plan" was devised. If you check with other schools, they have a budget that pays for replacing computers every 3-4 years, replacing and repairing Smartboards and other devices, and purchasing new equipment on a regular basis. The money for this has not been available for many years, so they are very far behind in replacement rotation. Computers are too old to be updated. Also, 10 years ago, wireless was not on the radar. The district has had to purchase a whole new wireless infrastructure (access points, servers, POE switches, cabling, etc.), maintain them, and replace them as they have gotten out of date (which happens sooner than you think). Budget has been used to maintain the infrastructure, but has not had enough to keep up with everything else. This is a large school district, and the technology budget is less than half of what it should be.

Somehow, reading the above comment doesn't inspire me to approve a new levy for technology. It inspires me to fix basic school district problems so we don't find ourselves in a another situation where we have no money for technology.
