This makes very little sense. Although the boars are slightly radioactive, why is not clear. The author seems amazed that a little radiation from a nuclear accident has such a widespread effect. A more reasonable deduction is that the radiation is from some other source!
These boars eat a lot of mushrooms. Fungus that make edible mushrooms can be huge, in fact a fungus in America is reputed to be Earth's largest living thing, and it makes edible mushrooms. Such giant living things probably bioaccumulate thorium and uranium from a wide area.

It sounds more like the Three Mile Island "problem" where people measured natural radon pollution in their basements post disaster, and tried to blame it on the reactor accident. These pigs may be eating mushrooms from fungus that bioaccumulates from a wide area. It seems unlikely the clicks are all coming from the reactor accidents. Even in Germany. Perhaps it was other bomb tests. Of course it is believed that Caesium-137 in the environment is always anthropogenic. But I don't think those boars were tested for what type of clicks they were making. No word of a gamma spectrum. (Hey you can get USB gamma spectrometers now.) My bet is that if you measure gamma spectrum you will find that it is thorium and uranium.

In any case, don't get excited about a Becquerel, or a thousand. Get a geiger counter and play with it. A Becquerel is nothing but a fancy name for a click per second. And everything clicks. Test your steel things. Test your granite and your brick. Test your loved one. Test your banana. They all click. A better measure is Banana Equivalent Counts. BEC.
If you really worry about such tiny does of radiation, you should sleep alone on an air mattress in a straw house.
