He doesn’t need to prove the dog attacked chickens, you need to prove it didn’t, good luck. Thank God you’re not a judge. As far as laws go, if I live in the country I can bring my guns outside and shoot for fun. Try that in the city, idiot.

There it is again: That very strange unconcern for evidence that certain people demonstrate. Congratulations, you can shoot outside for fun. That's nice. You still can't shoot dogs for fun, I'm pretty sure of that.

People need to read about Bruzzo from the beginning. He was not let out or off his leash intentionally. He escaped out the door BEFORE THEY COULD GET HIS LEASH ON HIM. The murder of an animal, especially a dog , is a federal offense, also a state. He was shot admittingly by the person, and I’m being nice calling him that, but could not prove his reason. Yes, he has to prove he is in the right of the destruction of a family pet. He has shown no proof the his chickens were killed or harmed. If the city, authorities, courts don’t want to be involved because they are afraid of this guy, then I hope the owners of Bruzzo take it higher in the courts. Not county or district, but state. Juan , you are wrong ona few counts but then so are some others. Read the articles from the start from the owners. People need to get their heads out of their butts and start thinking like humans again. We were given brains to think with not sit on. Let’s use them.

You’re wrong? Really? City people have a victim mentality that you can smell. Your dog is your responsibility, ESPECIALLY when you can’t control it and it gets off a leash. Dont protect your property from my loose uncontrollable dog, he got away before I could leash him! Soooooo Stupid.

Thank you for the clarification, Juan. I didn't understand that country people were so special and different that they can shoot your dog if it gets loose, regardless of what the law says. Illegally blasting your neighbor's pet must be one of those old-time country values that city people have lost sight of.

It's true that having an off-leash dog is a misdemeanor offense--something that Juan and company can't stop complaining about--but that doesn't make it any more legal to kill the dog. If we were to extend such reasoning to other areas, motorists would be allowed to run over jaywalkers, because jaywalking is illegal. Perhaps that is how they deal with jaywalking on Madeline Island. I don't know.

I like how after the dog went missing for only just hours. The family of the dog decided to leave the island. They left him for weeks before returning to actually look for the dog.

John - what the hell are you talking about? An off leash dog threatening livestock on your property can be shot. It's that simple. The dog doesn't even have to kill one. Chickens have rights, John. You don't have to wait for a chicken to die before you get to defend it.

Article Demonization of carbon dioxide

Any dissenting Climate Scientist (or otherwise reasonable scientists who is not on the Climate change dole) also gets treated by the left like this politician. Also, our governor's crazy idea about eliminating carbon fuels as the source of electricity places all in grave risk. Thankfully, he's likely to be replaced before he can cause any long term damage.

Thank you. As far as I know, the city does not incur debt to pay for routine maintenance of streets. The street improvement debt is what we are scheduled to fully pay off by 2021.

We also need to make sure only American's are voting, and that unions aren't intimidating their members by showing up at their homes with early voting ballots already filled out.
