Ely’s Cecilia Rolando, illustrator, photographer and painter will be a guest artist as part of the Grand Marais’ Art Colony ‘s downtown Studio 21 Arrowhead Artist Exhibition Series from Sept. 4 to Oct. 5, with an artist reception on Saturday, Sept. 6, 4-5 pm, to which the public is invited.
During the month of September, the gallery is open three days a week, Thursdays – Saturdays, 10 -5. The final week of the show, Sept. 28 – Oc. 5, Art Along the Lake week up the Shore, the gallery is open each day.
Cecilia's numerous unique and varied recent work, in watercolor and acrylic, is driven equally by material as color and composition.
