The Duluth Failed Poets Society is proud to present its first anthology: Murder Your Darlings.

The 65-page anthology contains poetry, prose, short fiction, excerpts of longer works, and illustrations from more than 20 writers and artists who live, work, play and thrive in the Duluth area. They write of love and loss, fairies and mermaids, home fires and lands beyond, the posterity of salt, and a man named Jim.

At the launch, the poets will read and perform from the 33 selections, and sign copies as requested.

Other events involving Murder Your Darlings include a Writers Salon on Thursday, April 17, at 6 p.m. at Wussow’s Concert Café.
