A Dala a Day

The quarantine inspired Graphic designerTeri Glembin to create “A-Dala-A-Day." Using bold colors, fanciful designs and fresh approaches to the traditional little horse Teri decorated one Dala Horse a day for a month.

Starting Jan. 8 you can view Teri’s work at the Nordic Center. In-person viewing is by appointment only, but you can take a virtual gallery tour any time of day.

The Nordic Center will host virtual workshops for both adults and children including storytelling, crafts, coloring books, and even a history lesson about the origin of the little carved horse.

If you own a Dala Horse, or maybe a collection, we invite you to submit photos to nordiccenterofduluth@gmail.com.
