Irish History & Archaeology

Students at UMD are participating in the archaeology of bronze age and early Christian sites in western Ireland. We will spend an hour sharing pictures of an Ireland you’ve never seen before, from our discovery of an ancient village on the island of Inis Mor, to underground images of objects surrounding a medieval Irish monastery, to establishing a new museum for Ireland’s most notorious prison.
