For the last 10 years of his medical practice, Dr. Gary Kohls had an independent clinic practicing holistic mental health care.

Dr. Kohls retired from medicine in 2008, but has continued to research and write about brain nutrition, mental ill health, the hidden dangers of psychiatric drugs and the use of non-drug alternatives.

Dr. Kohls is the editor of the online Preventive Psychiatry E-Newsletter that currently has over 400 editions. He is also a weekly columnist for the Reader Weekly of Duluth, MN, often writing about health-related topics.
