65th annual show that began in 1961 on the Watry farm, where it’s still held today. It started small, featuring a four-wheel drive Massey Harris tractor and a Case threshing machine, and since has grown to hundreds of tractors and stationary engines, blacksmiths, a petting zoo, kid’s games, tractor rides, rock crushing and more.

Paddlin’ for the Boundary Waters

Meg Gorzycki’s new books tells the story of Bob Jansen, who was fired from his teaching job at St. Scholastica and he used the settlement money in 1983 to open the Main Club, which became a hub for LGBTQ social life in the Twin Ports.
