I get that feeling every time the TV camera scans all the gold crap on walls, doors, shelves, tables, fireplace and picture frames in the Oval Office. Even Trump’s hair is golden as he dozes off. He is evidently possessed by the color gold.

I’m surprised his new Air Force One is not gilded gold with gold brica-a-brac around all the windows, doors and flaps. He is busy placing gold statues of himself at golf courses and other conspicuous places.
How about a big statue above the 250 ft. tall Arc de Trump he wants to build at the entrance of Arlington National Cemetery?

When asked who it was to honor, the Lyin’ King finally told the truth:”Me!”

By the way, just what is the reflecting pool reflecting today?

Green algae?

American blue sky?

Nothing?

Dr. Slim Kennedy is out of town getting vaccinated against scientific research.

Seventy years ago, as a U.S. Marine Corps officer, I had a tour of six months in the Caribbean Sea Area: “Gitmo Bay,” Cuba, Vieques, Haiti, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic with its capital Santo Domingo. However, it wasn’t called that anymore. The city had been renamed Ciudad Trujillo by  Rafael Leonidas Trujillo, who was dictator from 1930 to 1961. He was assassinated in May of 1961.

Marines had occupied the country from 19i6 to 1924, protecting American business interests throughout the region. Trujillo as a young man was trained by Marines, gradually rising through the ranks of the Dominican Army to become commander-in-chief of the army in 1927. He seized power in a 1930 coup assisted by a “rigged” election.

Sound familiar?

He maintained power through a brutal police force called the Military Intelligence Service (SIM), which specialized in torture, the “disappeared” methods and murder to eliminate any challengers to Trujillo.
Is it possible that Trump read about the talents of Trujillo? The Trujillo police sound a lot like Stephen Miller’s Immigration and Customs Service (ICE).

He established one-party rule and forced government employees to donate 10% of their salaries to his political party. He renamed the nation’s capital and the highest mountain peak Pico Duarte to Pico Trujillo. He insisted that all public buildings and some streets bear his name and pictures, and that all private homes and businesses display his picture in living rooms and public areas.

He developed a cult of personality with the slogan “Dios y Trujillo” (God and Trujillo).

Every time I see Trump in the Oval Office I think of the time I asked a waiter in a Ciudad Trujillo restaurant whose picture was on the wall. He almost went into shock from fear.

I was there during Mardi Gras – guess who was queen of the event? One of Trujillo’s daughters.
As an officer in the second Marine Division, I was blessed to have Lieutenant General Lewis “Chesty” Puller, the most decorated Marine in history with five Navy Crosses as my commanding officer. Puller had joined the Marines as a private and fought insurgencies and revolutions in Haiti in 1919-1924 and Nicaragua in 1928-1929 and 1932-1933. He would not have needed Hegseth’s annual tests for testosterone.

He fought in WW II, Korea, and volunteered to go to Vietnam. He may be the only private to reach the rank of Lt. General.

He insisted an officer’s job was to take good care of his troops. I still remember his official order: “If I catch you eating before your troops, I’ll ship you out to Butte, Montana.”

We have become the Divided States of America
We have traveled many miles since 13 colonies agreed to form an imperfect union 250 years ago and now are spread around at least half the world.

We are now divided into two countries: Trumpistan and America.

Fifty-three Trumplican senators represent approximately 150 million Americans. while forty-six Democrats and one Socialist represent 204 million Americans.

We seem to have hit an ICEberg because two senators from California represent 40 million people while two senators from North Dakota represent only 780,000 people.

Yes, we do have 435 members in the House of Representatives, each representing about 700,000 people. But this scheme doesn’t seem to be working out. About 90 million eligible voters did not vote in 2020.

We are way overdue for an amendment to solve the current mess. The Supreme Court decided years ago that free speech is very expensive, so made it possible for most of our thousand billionaires, who can’t recognize when enough is actually “enough,” to buy radio, TV, social media, newspapers, and rent, lease, or buy politicians who strew disaster capitalism across land and waters.

To make decisions about nuclear energy, the International Space Station, jet aircraft, AR-15 rifles, and Artificial Intelligence, the “originalists” on the Supreme Court today go back to the Constitution to see what Thomas Jefferson originally wrote about oxcarts, sailing ships, muskets, and whale oil.

It’s time for a change. The Supreme Court recently virtually named Trump king with several 6-3 decisions, including “maximum immunity.”

Donald J. Trump is president of Trumpistan and wants to Make America Great Again (MAGA) while using Project 2025 to Make America White Forever (MAWF).

By using instructions filed in Project 2025, Donald Trump, Elon Musk and Pete Hegseth have reached the same levels of illicit, immoral and bad behavior described in modern dictionaries and the Manual of Mental Disabilities used by psychologists and psychiatrists to treat “mental” patients.

The three have acquired these labels: sexual predator, racist, jerk, prick, asshole, malignant narcissist, socio-psychopath and their latest acquisition: war criminal.

The Trump administration has also started a campaign to rid the world of the International Criminal Court. The Divided States of America has never ratified the main treaty. Established in 2002 and based in the Hague, the Court investigates war crimes and other serious offenses committed by leaders and countries.

Every leader and country involved in the Iran War mess in the Middle East has committed war crimes and should be charged and arrested.

The Three Messkateers: Trump, Musk, Hegseth – and love and hate
They love themselves hate women, and don’t tolerate people of other colors. As example, Trump hates all Democrats because secretly they are all Commun-ists, Musk says a trans daughter is dead although she is alive and hates her father, and Hegseth hates Black admirals and generals, so he fires them or refuses to promote them.

Trump hates me because I’m a Democrat, so he is not my president — but the nutcase certified by 27 psychologists and psychiatrists is my dictator.

These three men will be responsible for the death of millions of people all over the world because they are anti-science, anti-vaxxers, anti-education, anti-regulation and anti-empathy.

And they have just been joined by Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert Kennedy, Jr who is anti-science, anti-vaccine and stupid enough to kill many millions in the future with diseases that could have been controlled. He now has measles around his neck.

His Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) is actually Make America Vaccination Free (MAVF).  The addition of Kennedy to the Three Messkateers has morphed it to the Four Horses Asses of The White House Thrift, Grift and Gilt Emporium named Pestilence, War, Famine and Death.

Secretary of War Hegseth wants his “warriors” to be “lethal” with doses of testosterone so they kill everybody in and out of sight without rules of engagement.

Musk, with his waving chainsaw and $300 million campaign donation to the Lyin’ King, and his destruction of USAID by his DOGE, killed 700,000 people in the world in just one year according to experts at Boston University and a study by The Lancet, the leading medical journal in the world.
By 2030 his closure of USAID will be responsible for the death of 4.5 million children. Musk claims there is no evidence the DOGE cuts resulted in a single death. So much for his reasoning!

Because of Kennedy’s anti-science and anti-vaxxer positions and his stands on vaccines causing autism, state legislatures were flooded with 400 bills about the requirements of vaccines to enter schools.
About 200 of the bills were designed to increase the use of vaccines and 209 were submitted to weaken vaccination rules or to undermine trust in them.

The Trump administration is destroying the data infrastructure
Amy Qin of The Guardian has a terrific article about why we have numerous government agencies: “When we think of what governments do, we think of everything from building highways to waging war. (Think of I-94 and the Iran War.) What they also do is capture the world in the form of information. The U.S. government may be the foremost producer of information in the world.”

The problem is, Trump is trying desperately to destroy it. Denice Ross, the former chief data scientist in the Biden administration who is now Director of Federal Data Policy at the Federation of American Scientists, summarizes why we need data: “Federal data touch every corner of American lives. When data disappears, we might not know or be able to connect the dots for why our lives are getting harder but our lives will get harder.”

Qin lists five ways Americans will be affected by deleted data.

1. One in three Americans live near hazardous chemicals. Nearly every county has facilities that handle toxic chemicals. An EPA tool made it easy to look up where they are.

2. Babies born in the U.S. have a higher chance of dying than almost all other high-income countries. The Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) covers mothers’ ability to breastfeed, and how poverty influences outcomes such as low birth weight and preterm births. State health departments also use the information to design and fund intervention programs.

3.  Hunger is rampant in the U.S.  The Food Security Supplement to the Current Population Survey has been the gold standard for tracking the state of hunger in the U.S. The national survey asks 18 questions about food insecurity, such as how many children skipped meals or didn’t eat for a full day because their parents did not have enough money.

4. More than half of trans youth have considered suicide. When will Trumplicans and the Vatican accept ten percent of the population are members of the LBGTQUIA+ community?

5. Cost of damages from climate changes has reached more than $200 billion a year. What happens when metro Phoenix has no water to make the golf courses green or metro Las Vegas can’t serve drinks at the tables?

The end of the American Empire will come from a big bang or little whimper. With Donald Trump as president and dictator twice, our country will not even be able to grow bananas to peddle.
