Great Fur Trade Rendezvous

Forts Folle Avoine Historical Park, Danbury
Step back in time for a vibrant living history experience of over 100 authentic pre-1840s encampments along the banks of the Yellow River, where two competing fur trade companies wintered from 1802 to 1804. Watch black powder shooting and traditional archery and try your hand at tomahawk throwing.

Pearson, aka “The Welsh Tornado,” combines fingerstyle pyrotechnics and explosive lead runs, making him one of the most exciting acoustic musicians today. He draws from influences such as Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed and Tommy Emmanuel. Local musician Mitchell Kane opens.
