Faith, harassment and propaganda

Many fundamentalist Christians, seem upset that the things they believe, are not accepted as undeniable facts coming directly from the mouth of God. And many of them have become more aggressive in the pages of newspapers and journals, because they fear their loss of hegemony might damage their self-perceived spiritual status as the epitome of Christ’s teachings. They come across like the kind of pharisees who wanted to stone a woman to death for committing adultery, but then became ashamed when Jesus picked up a stone and said, “Let he among you who is without sin cast the first stone” – the kind of call for compassion that so many religious zealots lack.

The purpose of this letter is to spiritually critique certain dogmatic Christian who, (against the liking of most other human beings), keep criticizing their political foes with harassing comments that assert their fundamentalist beliefs about the role they are playing – which supposedly has been handed down to them to them directly from God. And they also insist that their own spiritual status represents “the only true faith,” and therefore validates their interpretations of scriptures as being the final word in every spiritual discussion. However, when myself and many other people read the 4 gospels we don’t see them the same way.

We consider it axiomatic that Jesus wants us to love and help all people who are less fortunate than ourselves – people who are not required to become converts just to receive clean water and nutritious foods.Yet too many fundamentalists fear the loss of their theological dominance enough to continue spreading conveniently distorted versions of compassion and love that are suposedly condoned by God.

Currently many “righeous,” fundamentalists reject even the most reasonable and objectively proven facts, and actively persecute other faiths that they want to eradicate, (or disgrace)—particularly when their fundamentalist views are disproved by scientific facts, accurate and objective accounts of history, and their wholesale rejections of many other kinds of faiths. But they really are not seeking approval for their own narrow beliefs as being superior to all others, as they continually calling me a liar, a baby killer, a communist, and an atheist, despite Jesus instructions not to judge others lest we be judged ourselves.

I am over 70 and have never voted for a communist or a socialist candidate! I am also very much in favor of making sensible regulations that improve Wall Street for ordinary investors, and which might actually allow our current high prices to come down for everyone.

I also support legal accessibility to all family planing clinics in every state to help women who are raped, or have been the victims or incest, (or who otherwise), would be forced to carry the child of their rapist or abuser until it’s born. I also want many women who need real doctors with real skills to provide safe abortions for them. But a fetus with no functional organs like a heart, a brain, and no real concept of death, can also be humanely aborted by real doctors, performing safe and compassion abortions!

Recently my accusatory and ignorantly grandiose attacker sent me four insulting letters in one day, all lacking return addresses. so I want him to know that from now on, I will not read a single word in any of them! And when there are enough of them enough to fill a garbage bag, I will take great pleasure in throwing it down a garbage chute, or perhaps lighting a bonfire to roast some marshmallows! Why? Because when someone keeps lying to spread false propaganda about others, its about time we all pulled their political pants and revealed them for the ethically empty hypocrites they are. And I advise them to realize that any kind of continual harassment using any kinds of of communications media is considered a serious and legally punishable crime!

If there is a hell, Charlie Kirk is there

Charlie Kirk supporters who believe he is in heaven really need a wake-up call. The most important thing they need to realize is their god is not a white guy.

Their god does not prioritize one race of people. If their god did, then this god entity would not be a god.
Why would an all-knowing, all-loving god allow someone so cruel as Charlie Kirk into heaven? What would god be saying to Charlie in heaven? “Good job, Charlie. I never did like that guy Martin Luther King Jr. He was an awful person. I’m glad you set the record straight. I’m also glad you said Black women don’t have the brain processing power to be taken seriously. Right again, Charlie. Good job. Welcome to heaven.”

A law professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock was suspended after comparing people mourning Charlie Kirk to the Ku Klux Klan. How disgusting that this professor got suspended after making such an accurate statement. Because if you are going to support a man who says that Martin Luther King Jr. was an “awful person,” you line up with the Klan. There’s nowhere else to put you.
