The American voters have the absolute right to elect a traitor for president of the United States. In 2024 that is exactly what they did. 

Donald Trump evaded the courts and jail time but only an imbecile, a poutin (that’s French for whore) or Federalist Society lawyer wishing to stay in his good graces would say otherwise.

When Trump’s easy victory over Biden was thrown in doubt by a vigorous Kamala Harris, the former illegal alien - and now richest man on Earth - Elon Musk, spent a modest quarter of a billion dollars to save Trump’s bacon. He spread enough bullshit in seven swing-states to couch potato voters that he elected Donald Trump. Now 

Elon is Trump’s lap dancer-in-chief.

Musk’s puny investment of about one thousandth of his fortune got Trump elected and resulted in news of an immediate 40 million sale of Tesla cars to the State Department. This will soon be dwarfed by a 3 trillion continued reduction in taxes on billionaires. 

The Supreme Court will soon be ruling over and over on whether President Trump can ignore 100 years of precedent limiting presidential power. Their rulings will come as or after Trump fires thousands of government attorneys. He is replacing them from a pool of 65,000 Federalist Society attorneys who want both a powerful President and jobs.  These attorneys, some of which were found guilty of aiding an attempted overthrow of the 2016 election, are eager to stoke the President’s organs of power. 

This kowtowing was put on hold today when Ukrainian President Zelensky showed up to request help from the United States for the murderous invasion of his country by power hungry Russia. 

Zelensky was immediately humiliated on camera with a gratuitous lecture by Trump’s fawning Veep Vance. JD lectured the Ukrainian leader because he wasn’t groveling enough. 

Zelensky made things worse by refusing to agree to lies Vance and the President were spouting as Putin’s TASS news service filmed the exchange in the White House. The old Soviet propaganda arm was invited by Trump to replace the venerable Associated Press. The AP’s offense was to ignore the president’s asinine and unenforceable proclamation to call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America. 

Trump knows a thing or two about groveling. 

I’ve never understood why he grovels for Putin considering what the FSB (Putin’s renamed KGB) did to Trump after he became President in 2016. Russian operatives spread the story that Trump had hired prostitutes to urinate on a bed Obama slept in during a Russian state visit. If Putin had done that to me, I’d have made the bastard pay. But Trump, who is infamously vengeful, didn’t. He blamed everybody else for humiliating him when it was Russia that deprived him from the honeymoon he deserved. 

What does Putin have on the current U.S. president?

After losing his second election in 2020 and attempting a government overthrow, the now civilian Trump said Putin was absolutely brilliant for invading the Ukraine. He changed his tune after winning in 2020. 

Before the inauguration Trump admitted that the invasion was not a success. But instead of sticking up for the invaded democracy Trump is determined to make Putin’s treachery a success. The president’s treatment of the Ukraine only soils America’s reputation as democracy’s champion across the world.  His obsequious Vice President, who can’t stop sniffing Trump’s butt, just makes things more nauseating. 

If Trump wasn’t so eager to act like a mafia don Putin would be in big trouble. Russia lost its educated youth in a massive exodus. Putin has now excused white Russians from the draft. He’s throwing prisoners and non-Russian minorities into the fray. They are dying in droves. 

Putin may one day regret his desperation should his minority regions decide that their sacrifice was a one-way-street. Trump is Putin’s get-out-of-jail card.

This is vintage Trump. He brags about turning the bombed-out Gaza graveyard into the next French riviera while he’s cutting off food for starving masses in “shithole” countries. Iowa farm country, which has helped feed the starving since JFK created USAID, is collateral damage.

The sleazy, twice impeached and traitorous president Donald Trump is now elevating his fellow conmen to cheat American citizens and betray our international allies. 

As long as a traitor remains in the White House and dismantles the America I revere, I will display the Ukrainian flag from my front door. Surprise! Surprise!  I’m not alone. Ukrainian flags are sold out. I’ve had to put mine on back order. I’m glad I’m not alone. 

Some Americans still support democracy. I had my wife make a little one a couple years ago. I’ll go look for it.
