Regarding political lawn signs
It’s that time again. Fall is coming, elections are coming, and political lawn signs are beginning to pop up everywhere. That’s where the problem begins.
The problem isn’t necessarily the presence of political lawn signs but that many are being damaged or stolen just because they may not reflect every one’s personal views.
Theft or damage to political lawn signs is not just disrespectful of other’s property or opinion but is unlawful as well.
Upon discovering a stolen or damaged lawn sign one should immediately call the sheriff’s office at 218-326-3477 or their local law enforcement describing the sign(s) content and location.
I have heard from some that everybody does it but the truth is that not everybody steals or damages political lawn signs.
What many people are unaware of is that if a Democrat is known to having stolen or damaged another’s property they will be severely reprimanded by their peers. Republicans, on the other hand, seem to regard this practice as perfectly acceptable.
Please, no matter who you are or your political persuasion, respect other’s rights and property. It’s appreciated.

Keep those tables turned!
I woke up today, (the day the Democratic Convention starts), to hear a story about how Republicans aim to counter the “propaganda” of Democrats. So, I would ask them to supply even a shred of proof that verifies their claims. They have gained a large following by repeating lies and misinformation over and over again, which convince gullible voters to support Trump. But none of them seems to provide any tangible and/or objective evidence to back up their claims.
Guess what? The Democrats can verify their views and can prove that Republicans are lying! – when Republicans repeat one unproven claim after another.
However, when Republicans support someone who they believe was sent by God, that apparently nullifies any rational arguments offered by Democrats and absolves Trump supporters from actually proving anything they say.
Thus, we can soon expect to see a myriad of clever insinuations and lies delivered to millions of television viewers by Republicans who portray them as noble attempts to fight the Justice Department. We are also going to see many bizarre new conspiracy theories repeated as if they were facts. And the Republican faithful will defend these statements by claiming they don’t need to prove them since they are based on faith in Trump. (OH REALLY)?
I guess telling the truth is no longer part of our national discourse and plays no part in establishing facts, because outlandish lies no longer need to be proven. You see, when voters place their faith in Trump, they “don’t need any stinking truths!”
