Demographics

There have been many political polls over the past few months and they all show an interesting trend. I will list some of these poll results which are linked to political demographics and give some reasons.
African Americans - historically they voted for Democrats but not now. Reason - Biden has alienated most of them due to crime, economy and when he stated “if you don’t vote for me you are not black enough.” Who would say that?
Latinos - again, historically voting for Democrats but not now. Reason - Biden is against school choice and supports teacher unions who donate millions to his campaign.
Gen Z - young voters helped Biden in 2020 but not now. Reason - they feel Biden is too old. Simple enough.
Activists - no historical trend but mostly Democrats but not now. Reason - every pro-Hamas activist will not vote for Biden due to the Israel vs. Hamas war.
Swing States - again, historically Democratic but not now. Reason - Biden has destroyed trust in their party. Even Minnesota may vote against Biden. The Bronx Rally on May 23rd, 2024 was great. New York will be RED.
I am struggling to think of any groups/demographics who will collectively vote for Biden? The only one is the pro-abortionists but that will not win the election.
My prediction is that at the DNC convention in Chicago that they will put in a new candidate - Gavin Newsome?

Talking to the right

The problem is that Trump’s followers, don’t respect logic or facts! They are so committed to their king of the hill, grade school recess dreams, that they will not even answer the most rational fact-grounded questions and prefer to echo the lies that MAGA portrays as real news and claims it comes from the bogyman Trump calls the “deep state.” Even now Trumpers will not even allow the commonsense response of providing actual proof of what they believe.

I used to comment on X when it was called Twitter, and I asked another commenter if he could provide actual evidence to back up something he claimed was true. It must be a rush to believe you are among the chosen few who accept their fearless leader’s every word, but even if their fearless leader blatantly contradicts one of his own claims and then refuses to explain why, or even answer the points brought up by those who dare to rely on logic and reason to expose his lies. Thus the Twitter commenter I asked for proof responded by saying something like “I don’t have to provide proof, I am my proof!!”

So how can one convince someone with such stubborn and blind allegiance to Trump, to check out what Trump says using critical thinking and verified sources as his means?
Banning books is sometimes now justified in the name of free speech and religious virtue, so no more will we be able to ponder the end of 1984, and the tragic admissions made by the hero who was tortured into pitifully affirming his torturer’s question about how many fingers he was holding up – until finally the hero, (Winston), agreed to say he holds up 5 fingers, even though his inquisitor is truly holding up 4, and thus the hero finally gives up his freedom to think for himself.

We cannot say for sure what Trump will do if he is elected but the survivors of Nazi death camps say that what is happening in America now, is (very) similar to the things Hitler did to seize absolute power in Germany. All we can hope is that enough independents and conscientious Republicans will (not) vote for Trump – so once again, maybe we can refer to encyclopedias, dictionaries and uncensored history books, in addition to a truly free press, to determine the truth by reading the New York Times, the Washington Post and every newspaper in this world that honors the truth – not just discuss the lies told by Trump and his MAGA cult, but will once again hear truthful information no matter (which candidate) tries to deny honest journalistic reporting!

Consider the animals and immigrants on the 4th

This July 4th when you celebrate your freedom by eating the bodies of animals, 95 per cent of which never knew a day of freedom, think of them.  And of the migrants who take harsh agricultural jobs and live at risk. Your thoughts may lead you to expand freedom into these directions.
