No choice in 2024
The media are now debating whether Donald Trump aspires to be a dictator. Hello? Trump was the only president in American history to thwart the peaceful transfer of power after losing an election. There should be no second chance for someone who has done what Trump has done, but this sociopath and his enablers are exploiting the freedoms of our open society in an attempt to dismantle that same open society. The coup attempt is not over, but hopefully our judicial system will hold Trump accountable before he can lie his way back into office and finish his intended destruction of our democratic institutions. MAGA is stoking all the fear and grievance they possibly can, but next year’s election will be about much more than the price of eggs or who uses which bathroom. People sometimes complain that voting in our two-party system is like choosing between Pepsi and Coke. In November of 2024 the flavor choices will be pumpkin spice or boot polish. The former may not be your all-time favorite, but the alternative is absolute poison.

An open letter to Senator Klobuchar
Dear Senator Klobuchar, I see that you have received money from AIPAC (an organization that supports genocide in Palestine) of over 664,011 dollars. Do you realize that 20,000 Palestinians are dead, mostly children because of US support for Israel? Please send that money back to them and work for peace. No more aid to Israel. It seems like you support war and genocide over peace, justice, and the rights of the Palestinian people. Please start representing the People of the United States.
Thank you. Sincerely,
Steve Johnson – Ely, Minnesota
