Mads Hansens Kapel Saturday, Oct. 14, 6 p.m. Simply Ballroom Folk dance band on international tour, interpreting old melodies and playing with wildness, authority and heart. The band will teach a workshop 2-4 p.m. at the Nordic Center, then perform at the ballroom.  

Erik Brandt & The Urban Hillbilly Quartet Saturday, Oct. 14, 7 p.m. Wussow’s Americana/songwriter/folk/whatever band has drawn fans from around the world since 1995. They are now performing in support of their most recent release, "South of Dark," and Erik’s "The Long Winter." With Wilkinson James, a blues & honky tonk band in its 15th year.  

Adrian Legg Sunday, Oct. 15, 6:30 p.m. The West Theatre Called “simply the best acoustic guitar player I’ve ever heard” by Joe Satriani, this virtuoso from England is acclaimed for his unique acoustic and electric fingerstyles.  

Dropkick Murphys Tuesday, Oct. 17, 9 p.m. DECC Amsoil Arena After two acclaimed folk albums, the American Celtic punk sensation puts down their acoustic guitars and hits the road for a run of full electric shows, joined by The Interrupters and opener Jesse Ahern.  

An Evening of Radiohead & Wandering Eye Thursday, Oct. 19, 7 p.m. Cedar Lounge Al Church and friends (aka "Permanent Record") perform Radiohead and Wandering Eye (Alan Sparhawk of Low, Marc Gartman Of Glitteratti and Tim Saxhaug of Trampled by Turtles) play Ween.
