Rachel Kilgour Friday, Sept 22, 7:30 p.m. Zeitgeist Teatro Zuccone A memoir concert that explores the life and death of the musician’s father and their relationship.This is very intentionally a solo concert, something of a one-woman theater production.  

Rick McLean Friday, Sept. 22, 8 p.m. Caddy Shack Album release on the latest cutting-edge technology … tape? If that’s true we’ll have to go to Goodwill to find a device to play it on. With NeatNeatNeat (retro pop rock from Duluth), Hard Feelings (punk, Superior) and two bands from St. Louis, Mo.: Miracle Whip (punk) and The Mall (dance-goth).  

Duluth Does the Trio Saturday, Sept. 23, 7 p.m. Sacred Heart More than two dozen Twin Ports musicians will pay tribute to Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. The North 103.3 music director Christine Dean and North Country Jukebox host Starfire will emcee the event.  

Gangspil Saturday, Sept. 23, 7 p.m. Duluth Folk School From Denmark, these lively musicians perform old dance tunes and songs from every corner of their Scandinavian home country, plus their own compositions. Expect wild polkas, jigs, waltzes, hopsas and reels.  

Elias Mokole & Linda Turpening Sunday, Sept. 24, 3 p.m. Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd 1325 N. 45th Ave. E., Duluth The acclaimed baritone and pianist interpret the compositions of Samuel Barber, Margaret Bonds and John Ireland, harmonized with the poetry of Blake, Hughes and Joyce.   

Reverend Raven & The Chain Smokin’ Altar Boys Thursday, Sept. 28, 7:30 p.m. The West Theatre Beloved band from Milwaukee plays traditional blues and original songs peppered with nods to Slim Harpo, Little Walter, Jimmy Rogers, Billy Boy Arnold, Junior Wells and the three Kings.
