Captain Pike Day Wednesday, Aug. 23, 7 p.m. Bayfield Heritage Association The City of Bayfield will proclaim August 23 Captain Pike Day in honor of one of Bayfield’s founders, Robinson Derling Pike (1838-1906). The Heritage Association opens a new exhibit on Pike and descendants of his family will be in Bayfield for the celebration.
