True love wins

During my minor seminary years I learned that we were created with intellect, free will and life everlasting. Our Creator meant us to be individuals even physically as we look different. Even identical twins have something that distinguishes them.

However, humanity has created so many problems by not accepting individuals as they were created. Married couples have so much difficulties by demanding that their spouses be the way they thing they should be; not the way they are. That is very disrespectful and causes many divorces. Of course, lack of authentic love cause them.

I did not plan to get married when I was young as I wanted to be a priest. That education was very important because I found myself and learned English since I knew only five words when I immigrated at almost eighteen. I finished my degree at University of Minnesota where I met my wife and am so fortunate that we have been together for 55 years! We have been blessed with three children, five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Boycotts work

One of my hobbies which I formally started  25 years ago is to boycott anything that disagrees with my principles. I use to be a fan of MLB especially when the Twins won both the 1987 and 1991 World Series. Unfortunately, the 1995 MLB strike which eliminated the 1995 World Series which is for the fans, destroyed MLB for me. So, I  boycotted MLB for over 20 years. Now family and friends criticize me by saying………….”wow, that really hurts them”.

What we are seeing today though is that boycotts do work. Let me list the recent ones: Anheuser Busch (lost $20 Billion – Mulvaney Bud Light promo); Target (lost $15 Billion – tuck swimsuits); Disney (lost $? Many thousands of layoffs); Kohl’s ( $? – Pride clothes for infants); etc. or, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) which is a “green” investment strategy around for a few years but Biden signed legislation to mandate companies and fiduciaries to invest – now Exxon is dropping this investment.

I will now predict many new boycotts happening soon: PGA/LIV merger due to LIV is a Saudi Arabia league and they assassinated an American journalist plus terrible human rights. Cracker Barrel due to Pride rocking chairs in their restaurants. MLB due to being WOKE moving the 2021 All Star game from Atlanta to Denver. Garth Brooks new Nashville bar due to selling Bud Light. Any many more! Individual boycotts lead to the thousands of folks to make a statement against WOKE companies! Time to WAKE up.

Collateral damage

It’s the official military euphemism for reckless murder. The innocuous term s a cover-up to divert the public to the horror of war. In an all-out showdown it would include all life forms, including vegetation, which is perishable. The sound-bite would be: “That’s all, folks!”
