The Tiffany-Stauber dog-and-pony show

I recently attended a telephone town hall hosted by Congressman Tiffany and joined by Congressman Stauber to discuss the state of energy in America and the importance of H.R. 1, recently passed by the House, which would promote more oil and gas production and repeal provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act for accelerating our transition to a net-zero carbon emissions economy. I followed the instructions for indicating I had a question and told it to a woman who came on my line apart from the live call to ask what it was.  She said it was a good question and she would put it in the queue.  Here it is: “H.R. 1 seems to ignore any concerns about climate change.  As I think we all know, a great many climate scientists have concluded that there will likely be some devastating consequences for the planet and our children and grandchildren, if we don’t reduce our carbon emissions as quickly as possible.  I know that not everyone agrees with them, but should we be at all concerned about the possibility that they may be right, or should we just ignore that possibility?” Though numerous participants were called upon to ask their questions, I wasn’t one of them, and the word “climate” wasn’t mentioned at all during the entire one-hour call. I guess that’s the Congressman’s answer to my question.

It's come to Jesus time

Thank you, Peter Johnson.very much for your respectful comments regarding my last letter  about the "Transgender craze." In my 74 years I've never faced a time where people changed their gender ,and  over 100 genders which is really bizarre.The Creator (for me it's Jesus) made male and female perfectly and " Science and Medicine" used to understand GLBTQ etc. being mental  caused by trauma,  dysfunctional family life or experiences. In rare cases there are  childhood genital tract development disorders  called Hermaphrodite and Pseudohermaphrodite which, thankfully, can now be corrected Surgerically,  plus for injuries and diseases; not to change the sex. What happened to '"FIRST DO NO HARM ,not what's politically correct?   The article he recommended says "researchers are just starting to understand Transgender" , is "extremely limited" and "if we can define sexual  dysphoria better"  is very uncertain. They think bipolar and depression may really be Transgender  which makes no sense since Bipolar disease ,suspiciously, began  as a side affect when Antidepressants were routinely prescribed  ,also suspiciously, Psychiatrists won't admit to or even discuss anymore.   Having worked 43 years in the hospital as a nurse made me aware of Antidepressant side affects on patients , family and reading about cases which included hostility, hate, increased obsessions including sexual, suicidal thoughts, childlike behavior, and more. Instead of stopping those drugs the Psychiatrists increase them or switch to another Psychotropic drug with more side affects. I notice a timeline starting when  Psychotropics were  prescribed routinely  late 1980s,  then suicides increased plus "shootings" started with Columbine in 1991; also noticed new  diagnosis of  Autism,  Bipolar disorders, and Alzheimers  , increased sexual promiscuity to now Transgender.   We need  honest discussions about the effects of these drugs  plus  adding Marijuana causing more personality changes and  mental deterioration. Doctors please stop all these drugs and speak the truth. Come to Jesus who is Truth.
