Abstract artist d’Inverno weaves the history of the region on large-scale canvas. The exhibit illustrates the long story of immigration from the first arrivals post-Ice Age to the subsequent migrations through the centuries.

March featured artist: Regina Swanson. Swanson is a 30-year-old Mexican Italian artist born and raised in St. Paul. Her family were immigrant farmers and settled in the Westside Flats, now an industrial zone. At a very early age she realized she saw and felt things differently from those around her and expressed herself through coloring, drawing, writing, researching and creating.
