Fail mail
I saw on the news where the postal service was closing more stations but said it would not affect mail delivery much. I wonder how much because right now, it’s bad.
A friend just received a Christmas card postmarked Dec. 10. I sent something to a friend in Minneapolis. It took two weeks for her to get it. I’m lucky if I get a bill before it’s due and if I get my weekly magazine six weeks late.
So I wonder what it will be like when mail is even slower. Plus he said they might have to raise the price of stamps, too.
I’m not blaming the mail carriers. They can only deliver it when they get it. But it’s no wonder people are mailing things less nowadays. The only thing you seem to get on time is junk mail.
I am mailing things less. Who wants to get Christmas cards in April, four and a half months after it was mailed, or pay a late fee because you got the bill statement late?
