County assembles online resource directories to serve people and businesses
St. Louis County has assembled two online resource directories to help connect people and business owners with services that can assist them during challenging times created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
One guide highlights community service providers for individuals; the other highlights business resources. Links to both can be found online at stlouiscountymn.gov/covid19.
The Community Resources Guide, compiled by Public Health and Human Services staff, is an online directory of resources including child care, food assistance, emergency financial resources, mental health services, substance abuse and treatment options, and more.
The Business Resource Guide, compiled by Planning and Community Development staff, includes links to federal, state and local agencies, and provides information on loans, debt assistance and other financial help to keep businesses afloat.
Both guides will continue to be updated as new resources become available, so people are encouraged to check back from time to time for new information.
"So many people and businesses are hurting right now," said County Board Chair Mike Jugovich. "We want to make it as easy as possible to connect people to the resources that can lessen those impacts."
